아트부산 2021 ART BUSAN May 14 - 16 2021 벡스코, 부산 이번에 몇몇 유명작가들의 참여형 설치작품이 설치되었다. 그 중 하나인 올라퍼 엘리아슨 최영욱의 Karma 실물을 보는건 처음이다. 표면이 아주 매끈하고, 섬세하게 크랙을 표현해 냈다. 그림이라기 보다는, 하나의 항아리 표면을 표현해낸 느낌이다. 둘러보다가 시선이 머물렀던 사진작업. 시적이고 회화적인 이미지에 이끌려 자세히 들여다 보게 되었다. 사진과 회화의 경계에 있는 듯한 작업은 작가 자신이 사용하던 비누를 카메라 안에 담아낸 것으로 표현되었다. 보석처럼 보이기도 했고, 물방울 혹은 수채물감 자국같아 보이기도 하는 등 여러 매체를 연상시킨 이 작품의 정체는 아주 일상적 소모품인 '비누' 라고 한다. 작가의 세상에 대한 새로..
